Recently there has been a thread in the PhotoForum regarding painterly effects.
Since my "reflections" photographs are exactly that, I posted to the PhotoForum
list.
Since mine is not double exposures nor slide sandwiches, it is not much of a
technique. The only thing I do technically is to bracket (I'm glad that Doris
Fang is back). Bracketing has given me a handle to see what can be. If I had
not bracketed some shots, I would have gotten just an ordinary picture. If you
want more from your photography, my advice is to shoot slides and bracket
exposures. I don't think you need to have so many prints in your album. After
many years only memorable shots are relatively a few.
