I remember back in the early days of autofocus (mid-80's) there was an
after-market lens maker that was building autofocus lenses for manual
cameras. It was as slow as an overloaded mail server, heavy as a
refridgerator, but worked. I remember selling a couple of them but for the
life of me can't remember who made them and any other details.
I'm not suggesting that this lens be my end-all substitute for AF, but
would provide another arrow in the Olympus quiver for limited applications.
Anybody know of what I speak?
