Please excuse me John for answering to this old thread, but I can´t stop
thinking if the word "single" is needed here? Since you were the only one which
described it (correctly) in this way I´ve got the impression that many on this
list thinks of it as a single reading "press down a spot button to make a
memory reading" type of spot metering. The key words here is "real time spot
reading", which means that the spot meter is activated (and continues to read)
as soon as the trigger is depressed. Could there be anything else than a single
reading with this spot system?
