Hmmm...
a local pawn shop has an ancient 8 x 10 wooden view camera, sans bellows,
sans ground glass, etc. and looks like its been in someone's chicken coop
for the past 30-odd years (in other words, a real fixer-upper).
Hmmmm...

mandatory OM content, to bring us back to earth: I wonder of one of those
old Zuiko folder lenses would work on it? At all? Naahh,, focal length's
too short.

It is a great story. Nothing against it, it's not my favorite of his
shots. Still, it makes me wish I had one of those old woodies with a tripod
platform. I think of that everytime I climb into the back of my pickup and
set the tripod on the cab.
