Actually, a 1/3 stop difference can and is noticed on slide film. The
standard bracket for slide film is 1/3 stop at a time. I think you will find
that with most gray cards, you will notice a greater difference than 1/3
stop if the card is angled from one extreme to the other. So at best you
have 1/3 stop difference and at worst as much as 1 stop, or more, depending
on the particular card.
