In a message dated 98-11-20 04:10:08 EST, you write:

<< But note that a vampire's image will quickly fade from a Tri-X
negative. Once developed, the silver won't hold it for long (it's the
mirror principle again). Use T-Max instead. Once fixed in a dye-coupled
image, you should be able to print your vampires' picture. Color film will
work too--but as anyone over 30 knows, vampires are always more effective
 in black and white. >>

My technique is simple; bring along at least 5 pounds of cornstarch and a
wooden tripod. After you coat the vampire with the cornstarch, set your OM up
on the wooden tripod and overexpose 2 stops to properly capture the white on
film. Of course, the wooden tripod has a dual purpose here if you know what I
mean. The photos end up looking like gargoyles on European Gothic churches
although I know of no relationship here.
