You will probably get an exposure if you try to use an OM-1 between shutter
speeds but it will not be the correct shutter speed. the meter strings &
pulleys can handle half stops, bu the shutter doesn't deliver intermediate
speeds.
Same goes for a 2/2N on manual. Though shutter speed changes, if set in
between, will affect meter position in full stops only. This is controlled by
brushes on a ceramic board with printed resistive values, 1 resistor for each
manual shutter speed. On some early 2s, setting the front ring to the B
shutter speed, will turn the meter off. On other 2s and 2Ns, B will give you a
meter reading for an equivalent exposure at 2 seconds.
