It seems that some people are very partial to the OM-1. Others prefer the
OM-2.
Why? Is it the mechanical vs. electronic shutter, or something else?
Me? I deliberately sought out an OM-2 when I recently joined the ranks of
Zuikoholics Non-Anonymous. I like the option of manual or automatic
exposure, and I figured the electronic shutter would be more reliable in an
older camera.
And then I happened to find an OM-2 in really nice shape. The little
problem with the meter switch I mentioned earlier has been fixed. Now if
it would only stop *raining* up here so I could try it outdoors.
