You don't say!! I just authorised an AUD$168 repair to my dad's EOS RT
for this. Firstly I thought "tar" got to the blades and I used alcohol
to clean it up. It started with under-exposing shots by about 2F stops.
Then with my next roll I lost 1/2 the film 'cos it didn't fire at all!!
And it did something wierd - rewound the film into the cannister the
wrong way around.
On the good side, my OM-4Ti will be back in my hands in 1/2 hr's time.
Appeared that the focussing problem was caused by the mirror - only
AUD$75 to fix.
