On Sun, 1 Nov 1998 08:44:14 EST, KenK1ZYW@xxxxxxx jammed all night, and by
sunrise was overheard remarking:
> What are the specks of the OM-G? Is it similar to the OM10?
There's that family resembalance. It's actually the same thing as the
OM-20, though for some reason, the US names differed from the rest of
the world across the consumer line, past the OM-10 anyway:
US everyone else
OM-10 OM-10
OM-G OM-20
OM-F OM-30
OM-PC OM-40
OM-77AF OM-707
OM-88 OM-101
Or something like that. Olympus seems to have lost it on names, beyond
the professional series.
Over the OM-10, the OM-20/OM-G takes a motor drive, a PC flash, built-in
manual mode, and I think some extra features in the automatic system. It
also seems a bit more rugged, but that may just be the look.
