Actually, I'm pretty sure that the champagne color is paint. Comes off just
as easy as the black paint used on the newer OM-4Ti models. The problem is
of course getting normal paint to stick to titanium. If you look closely at
an OM-3Ti or even the color pictures in the brochure, you will see the 3Ti
is not black, but a dark gray. Apparently finished not in paint, but some
type of coating or anodizing.
