Not all camera stores in Vancouver are like that. Leo's on Granville carries a
modest selection of OM gear (I was in there last week, and they had a NIB
OM-3Ti and an OM-2000 on display, as well as several new Zuikos and about eight
used Zuikos [including *three* 55mm F/1.2's!]). InterPro (I *believe* that's
their name) Cameras, just across the street from Pacific Centre Mall downtown,
carries NIB OM-4Ti, OM-2000, and a variety of new Zuiko lenses. Last but not
least, Lens & Shutter in Pacific Centre Mall carries new OM gear, specifically
the OM-2000, as well as new Zuikos. They even had an example of a NIB 35mm
F/2.8 Zuiko shift lens there last week for $1,029.00 CDN + tax (which makes it
about the same price as you can buy it new from B&H in New York [actually, just
a shade cheaper]). None of the fine people running any of these stores is
under any illusions about whether or not Olympus still makes SLRs.
Now Edmonton, mind you, is The Land That Olympus Forgot. **SIGH**...
