all night, and by sunrise was overheard remarking:
> Ziv sez the OM-1(N) has only? a 93 0.000000ield of view,
Where? On the normal Ziv OM Camera guide at
http://www.teamti.com/Ziv/OM/OM-Cameras.htm
he has both OM-1 and OM-1N (as well as OM-2..OM-4) at 97 0.000000ield-of-view.
The magnification at 50mm drops with the OM-2s, OM-3, and OM-4; this I
didn't realize.
I would be shocked if it were any less. I bought my first OM-1 right
when the MD model came out, but I had followed it very closely before
then (I was in High School, photography my main hobby, years before home
computers came along). One of the big-story items about the OM-1 was the
field-of-view. Most SLRs showed less than 90% at the time, I think
perhaps the Nikon F-1, Canon A-1, and maybe one other super-pricey
camera were at or about 100%, but it was unheard of in the OM-1's price
range (as were lots of other things: interchangable focusing screens,
motor drive capability, nickel-chromium lens mount, etc).
> OM-10 had same spex as OM-1(N)'s did (according to Ziv)
This same Ziv page lists the OM-10 at 93%.
