Some of you may remember my messages a few months ago about the difficulty
of using my OM-4T with glasses on.
Well, after comparing my OM-4T to my OM-2S, and finding the latter much more
comfortable, I've about decided I'll never get used to the OM-4T and ought
to sell it. I can't see the full frame with glasses on; I can't even see
the top and bottom edges at the same time.
Nor can I use the OM-4T with glasses *off* because it doesn't offer enough
dioptric correction, and anyway, I need to be able to see whether or not I'm
holding the camera up to my eye!
Query (to all): How is the eye relief on your OM camera? I'd like to know
about all of them. Here's what I know so far:
OM-F, OM-10: More than adequate for eyeglass wearer
OM-1MD: Just adequate
OM-2SP: Just a bit short, but quite usable
OM-4T: Severely inadequate
How do the original OM-2, OM-3, and OM-4 compare?
None of these is like a Nikon high-eyepoint finder, of course. I wish
they'd re-engineer the OM-4T to make it more eyeglass-friendly!
