Well unless the original version did not have that little removable block,
mine must be a version 2 also. However, I found my 250 back fit the OM (1,
2, 4) body just dandy; is was that little block that *had* to go if the
motor drive 2 was going to fit. The winders were no problem, I've never
actually seen a MD-1. I decided to let the OM-2n be the 250 back slave.
The spot metering of the 4T was wasted on high speed motor sequences. I
keep the 4T dedicated to the "finesse" work. <vbg>
