In practical terms, it is a viewing system which enables the user to see the
full frame without having the eye up against the viewfinder. This allows a
viewer with eyeglasses to see the full image frame plus the digital readout
info below the image. The image magnification is somewhat less though.
The OMs have a large apparent viewing image which is great if you do not
wear glasses. With glasses it is hard to see the image corners.
