<< The last few ads I've seen locally for Tamron have included exclusively
their
AF lenses, with not even a mention of the Adaptall mount. The most recent
one was a full page newsprint flyer showcasing about 6 AF lenses.
By contrast, the camera show was at least 90% MF lenses/bodies, and one
dealer had two boxes full of adaptall mounts - probably close to 100 in
total.
And in taking a nice walk around Victoria yesterday (shorts & T-shirt weather
in late Sept - gotta love it!), I saw only one two AF SLRs (a Rebel and a
Pentax ZX), and at least 6-7 MF SLRs. Yes, Tamron (and especially Sigma,
Tokina, Vivitar) are missing some sales here...

I hear that Tamron is introducing their 28-200 Super II in Adaptall mount. I
could then rest my Vivitar 28-210 from its point and shoot duties and be able
to focus a whole lot closer to boot.
