Yes, George, you need a spare, loaded cassette to change film in the field.
Loading them is a darkroom (or changing bag for the truly adventuresome)
procedure. A 100 foot roll will load three cassettes with a few feet left
over. I consider four a minimum complement if you are serious about
high-speed motor drive sequences for a long day's shooting.
