than $200 to cover the 28 - 70mm gap. I go to airshows a lot, and the
static displays are very hard to frame with the 28mm - I always have to
move around and such to get the framming. I am considering the Series 1
28-105mm, and am wondering if any Oly users have comments about this lense,
or would suggest that I stay with Zuiko lenses. >>
If you want to stay all-Zuiko (not a bad way to go, but certainly not the only
way), your only choice is the 28mm-48mm/4. Not a bad lens by any means. I own
one, and love it. The range is limited, though, and it's a bit slow. I've been
very happy with it from a sharpness/contrast/flare perspective. I've never
used it for astrophotography, however. Takes 49mm filters, and very compact.
Hope this helps a little
