Couldn't you have a digital back to an OM but with image capture only, then the remainder of functions could be located in another black box connected by wire (possibly with a remote control?). This black box could then be secreted in a pocket or elsewhere. The camera body itself could therefore be kept smaller. ITALOR (new acronym, Is This A Load of Rubbish). Why does the camera have to have all the digital gubbins bolted on.
