Rayovac Renewels (the only rechargable alkaline that I know of) are a
pretty decent deal -- *much* cheaper than NiMH.
I use them in my digital cameras, though Ive never tried them in any
size other than AA. They run about $5 a set (4 AAAs, 4 AAs, 2 Cs, or 2
Ds), and the charger runs $10-$20. You can recharge them about 20 times
(more if recharged before they're completely drained -- as in a digital
camera).

Rechargeable alkalines Shawn?
Is that what you meant, or did you mean alkalines which you have
recharged
with one of the trickle chargers now available - or NiCads?
