Could it be that the longer focal length was causing more of the
brightly lit subject (dancing wildly with light glaring off his
harmonica! - yes, I'm a fan too.. .-) to fill the frame, causing a
higher average EV reading? Still, 1.5 stops seems like a lot...
also, had no problems with the OM4 on manual,but it

Definitely not a problem with my 4T - I've shot plenty the past two
weekends around those speeds, although usually on manual until
speed gets below 1/2.
