I second Hans's recommendation. This Kiron is probably the best
manual focus zoom of that type. I wish mine was in OM mount, but
one can't be too picky with a lens that few owners are willing to
part with. :-( One correction: this zoom takes 72mm filters.
To keep the lens affordable, Kiron took a couple of shortcuts: the
zoom-lock feature is not as nice as on the 80-200/70-210 zooms, and
some of the lens info. is printed rather than engraved. However,
IMHO optical and mechanical excellence were not compromised.
