Fascinating information. Thanks.
Years ago, in a course in laboratory photography, we pushed reciprocity and
the H&D curve to the very limits with very long exposures, lenses wide
open, bright sunlight. There comes a place where the rise of the H&D curve
flattens, peaks and begins a slight decline. The result - a rather dense,
but positive image in the processed negative.
