I called...the guy at the literature desk said, "Wow, you sure like those OM
cameras, huh?" when I asked for 4 different body manuals...two of which
(OM-10 and OM-77) are on backorder.

That's why I couldn't correlate the indicator with the switch setting. I
thought that was some sort of error indicator, or something...thanks for the
detailed explanation.

I did...that's why I only had 2 questions for the list. :-)

I plan to give my OM-2 a well-deserved rest. I'll use each of the others for
a while, figure out which I like best for regular use, then keep one of each
for a nice little collection and sell the rest.
