and demand must be able to meet (in a narrow bandwidth, I admit)
But it's not only the market situation which led me to my remark on
the value - I haven't made that clear enough in my original posting.
I simply think the quality of the pictures is so bad. They are 24x36mm
images in a large and expensive sheet of Polaroid paper. You can see
the poor resolution, caused by the separate optic fibers - there are
only a few thousand of them in this area, I guess. It is like watching
a monitor or TV-screen from a few inches distance....
Really the only thing it is good for is checking the modeling and
lighting of a picture. I use my viewfinder for the first thing, and my
experience for the second. I compensate for lack of the latter by
simply taking more exposures with different
lighting/aperture/exp.time.
