Hi Gang,
Earlier this year I finally found this lense second hand after
searching for many years. As luck would have three appeared in
Melbourne at about the same time. I don't use it that often as the
35-105 seems to stay on the camera mostly, but when I have used it it
seems to be very bright when looking throuh the viewfinder and the macro
is a little added bonus. The 65 end is just not quite wide enough for
my shooting hence the use of the 35-105. I think ths is a hang on
effect I have from when I bought my first OM the OM10 with a Graflex 28
- 200 lense years ago(Koren lense). ( not as good as a zuiko by any
means but a good all round travel lens and also good as an antimugging
device due to its weight). Back to the 65-200, recently I was using it
and whilst I cant be sure i think it gave me a lot of vignetting (sp)
when wide open with the hood out. Other than that I belive it to be a
good lense. I think Lee mentioned this in the past also. Btw the guy
in the shop I bought it from says that Zuiko is as good as Leica ( sorry
for the sweare word).
Hoping to see a OM5!
regards
Peter
