Slightly off topic, Why is it that there is never (or almost never)
any mention of my favorite original series screen the 1-14 ?
IMHO the ideal GP screen would be a Beattie with grid and a diagonal
split image. With the diagonal split image you're good to go with a
vertical or horizonal line. With the 1-13 you must hunt a vertical line
somewhere. I consider myself very lucky to have been able to pick up a
second 1-14 new at a reasonable price this last week.
I know that this has been covered in the last year (what hasn't ?),
but I only have OM1's and OM2's at this time. In the near (please let
it be so!) future I hope to purchase an OM4 or OM4T. Can I get one
Beattie screen that will fit what I have now and what I want in the
future ? There was some talk about filing the tab down.
