My 85/2 has black specks just in front of the rear element, which
were there when I bought it a year ago. Although the used shop
offered to clean them for no cost within the 6 month warranty, I
decided I would rather not have the lens opened up and risk other
damage (maybe I'm just paranoid..) after I could see no problem
with the quality of photos. If I had easy access to an Oly
authorized repair shop, my decision would probably be different.
If I was in the US, I'd probably send it to John at Camtech.
