Robert, did you see the July "Australian Photography"?
They had a fluff article on "should I buy a 35mm compact or an SLR?".
To pad it out they illustrated with pictures of cameras. SLR examples
were N*k*n N-50, a C*n*n E*S 50 and an OM-3Ti.
Perhaps the picked the lowest shipping model number and assumed that
was the entry level model... :-)
(Actually, the (then) editor of AP is an OM-shooter who still totes an OM-1,
maybe the -3 belonged to him?).
