It's not that hard to do it yourself. Several places sell sheets of
self-adhesive foam of different sizes and thicknesses (one such source
is Fargo Enterprises in Calif. 1-800-359-2878). First, use a toothpick
and a Q-tip to clean out the old goo, then cut up the foam sheet into
suitable pieces, and voila.

Not really, but it's not too difficult to find used 35RC's in good shape.
Other good choices -- compact, full-featured, and with a full manual
override: Olympus 35RD, Ricoh 500G (or 500GX, or 500ME), Canon Canonet
QL17 G-III, and Minolta Hi-Matic 7S-II. The Petri Color 35 is also
excellent, but lacks a R/F. All have very sharp lenses, metal bodies,
are inexpensive, and, sadly, are only available used.
