Perhaps the unspoken point that the author was trying to make is this,
with the finer resolution of films today, we come to expect more from the
final image.
His example was a print larger than 8x10.
Your insight on the human eye is of course logical.
Actually, I wish someone else would read this article and give their
opinion.
