There seems to be a lot of interest in this. Since it was my idea in the first
place, I will volunteer to coordinate any effort to put this together. As a
first step I think we need to get a feel for just how big a task this is.
Anyone who is interested in participating by contributing documentation I
would ask to send me a private E-mail listing what Oly documentation you have.
You should include the title, BRIEF description, date (most of the
documentation I have has a 4-digit date hidden on the last page), part number
(if any), language(s), format size, and number of pages. A note on the quality
of the document would be helpful as well, especially if it is in particularly
good or particularly bad condition.
I will then consolidate this into a catalog (which I suspect might be quite
interesting in itself). From there we'll have a pretty good idea of just how
big this task is (and if it's going to be put online, how big a server farm we
might need!).
Thanks in advance to all who contribute,
Paul
