No, Matthew, I think someone just expressed a different opinion about the need
for instant gratification in regard to OLY manuals. I kind of agree with him.
I have had an OM-2s for two weeks now without a manual, and I am having a
wonderful time figuring out how it works. I think I will have it pretty well
under control, (except for the Program function), by the time Olympus sends me
the free manual. For instance, I wondered for a while as to why the
viewfinder image was so dark in comparison to my older 2 and 2n bodies. Also
why the meter indication was off by a full stop from
the other bodies. With the wonderful store of info here and in the OLY FAQ's I
learned that the finder screen should be one of the "2" series, not as I
discovered when removing the screen from my new toy, a 1-13 screen.
I will appreciate the manual when it gets here but I don't mind the wait -
it's been fun so far.
