<< Hi Hans,
sorry I can't help with profound info. Quite the contrary: your qouestion
raised
further qouestions for me!
If you can't get close enough to your object of photographic desire with 2 or
3
T32s, could it be that these lenses are too close to the subject for a
ring-flash as well? In other words, what is the working distance with these
lenses on a bellows?

Hi Soenke,
The minimum working distance of the T-10 ring flash with the 38 & 20mm are as
follows.
20mm @ 16X Mag = .59" or 1.5 cm.
38mm @ 8X Mag = 1.3" or 3.2 cm
For the T28 Macro flash;
20mm @ 9X Mag = .63' or 1.6 cm
38mm @ 8X Mag = 1.3' or 3.2 cm
For the T-8 Flash
20mm (NOT RECOMMENDED)
38mm @ 8X Mag = 1.3' or 3.2 cm
These came from the little stickers that attach to the T- control.
Hope this answers your question.
