Comparing Contax to Oly, first one would have to say that many of the f2
lenses are not available from Zeiss, like the 21/2 and 24/2. Nor are there
any affordable long teles. There's a 35 shift but no 24. There's no 8mm
fisheye, and in the macro end Oly is much stronger. Zeiss does have a 60
2.8 and a 100 2.8 macro, but no bellows lenses, and little in the way of
macro accessories.
OTOH, Contax offers a 35 1.4 and an 85 1.4, as well as an incredible (and
priced accordingly) superwide 15 3.5.
If one is looking for a full complement of lenses, one must definitely look
elsewhere!
Regards,
Denton Taylor
