I also own an OM-PC, which I bought used. When I got it,
it worked fine. Then one time, I took the camera to the
beach and discovered a small light leak in bright sun-light.
I've had the foam replaced and it seemed to cure the
problem. But then, I haven't used my OM-PC much lately
since I bought an OM-2n.
Just so you understand, with any camera that are many years
old -- be it OM-PC or otherwise, you should expect to have
to replace the foam seals.
The OM-PC is great as a replacement for my aging P&S camera.
In "program" mode, all you have to do is focus and shoot.
It is so simple that even my wife and son can use it instead
of the P&S. But if you want to control the exposure, there
is also the "auto" and "manual" modes. Everything is
compatible with the rest of the OM system, and so everything
I bought for the OM-PC now works with my OM-2n -- lenses,
flash, winders, etc. (not that I own a lot of these :-)).
So if you have other OM equipment, or if you plan to buy
other OM equipment, this is a great advantage.
