     Dear Sunil,

        Your letter left me wondering...am I the only one that leaves his (or
    her) hoods on AND puts the cap on, too? The hood is threaded, and the
    lens cap will fit inside. If you find them a bit difficult to remove, try
    the 49mm Olympus IS hoods. They stand out farther.
