Oly has some exquisite micro-cassette recorders, but the ones priced near
the Sony when I bought mine were truly ugly and had fewer features. The
only Oly which I could find that matched the Sony's features cost about 40%
more.
Actually it is kind of an interesting parallel. Didn't Olympus pioneer the
micro-cassette or at least create a market with the Pearlcorder for a small
beautifully designed recorder kind of like the OM created a market for a
small beautifully designed slr.
Alas, it occurs to me that I have bought the microcassette equivalent of a
Canon EOS Rebel.
