I find that the same insulating properties that keep cold lenses cold
for over an hour will also keep them warm. So, immediately after I warm
up the stuff, it goes right into the bag, where it stays warm even though
the car is also AC'ed. When I get back into the car after shooting, I put
the equipment back into the bag/cases for travel, anyway. But a hunter's
electrically warmed sock might make a good travel "warmer".
