Hi all
Just found out that Nikon recommends a shutter change on their F5 after
80000 exposures. On the F5 a chip inside keeps track of the exposures,
counting them.
Is suspicion correct in that an OM-camera will exceed these numbers?. Albeit
with more adjustments for the cloth shutter than the modern high-speed
metal??
How about differences between mechanical (OM1, OM3) and electronic (OM2,
OM4)?
I bet there is a some experience accumulated over the years on this subject.
Cheers
