I use a 4T with MD-2 and switch lenses routinely. I have never had the film
advance 2 frames upon lens change automatically. If the frame count reset
button is pressed, then the MD will advance two frames, just as if you have
changed film. I have had more problem with hitting the advance button until I
learned to grip the body with my right thumb over the pentaprism and my fingers
wrapped up under the bottom of the motor. That way, the actuating button was
plenty clear of my fumbly fingers <g>.
Hope that helps a little.

"I used this brand new motor drive on my OM-4T at the Worl Cup in France. It
looks like a good device however when I changed lenses it seemed that it
advanced the film 2 frames automatically. I am not sure if it should do that
or maybe if by accidentally touching the lock release lever on the side of the
motor drive that sets of the counter. The manual was of not much help. Where
can I get more info on this unit ?"
