Hello Olympians,
I guess, that the values shown in the finder and the actual OTF metering
are based on two different meterings. One direct, via some mirrors and
prisms and one diffuse reflected from the shutter curtain and, or film
surface.
So it´s a question of adjustment to get matching results, even if some
parts, the SBC´s are used in both meterings.
It´s like incident and direct light metering, in theory both should come
to the same results, but in practice not.
The OM-2 should have been even more different meterings, because of the
completly independent metering systems. If not with your OM-2 Mr. Ling,
than you have a very good adjusted camera.

There are at least two variants, the actual one that comes with the
OM-4Ti, a semi transparent plastic, and a older cardbord one. The new
one is in fact relativly close to 18 0rey in combination with the black
pressure plate. The older one is brigther, giving shorter exposures, at
least now, after some years of storage.

Probably yes, but film reflectance should no problem today, at least for
slide film, because nearly all modern cameras use OTF for TTL flash
control, and if it is a problem, blame the film manufacturer.
A devation of 1/3 stop shouldn´t alarm you to much, because of the
accuracy of the meter display, it can not be better than +-1/3 stop. If
the meter meters 1/60s +0.32 stops it should read 1/60s, but if it meter
1/60s +0.33 stops it might show 1/60 +1/3 stop. The display shows an
difference of 1/3 stop, but the actual difference is realy 1/100 stop.
This just for example, 1/3 stop is hardly distinguishable on slide film.
