And yes, the modeling lights are just magic. With an ND or diffuser from
the T-32 filter kit, or just some translucent and opaque paper and tape, the
control over the light is so fine. Nice :-).
BTW - wasn't it great fun to actually meet a list member? I've not met any
of these fine folks but have met people from other lists. Makes for a
terrific day. I think it is nearing time for an east coast Oly fest. I
hear the Orlando airport has excellent connections from all over......hint,
hint......

John, I'm curious about how you use the T-32 Filter Kit.. I hope it's
nothing I want to do because I just traded off mine! But I know where I
can find some rice paper...
It really was great to meet a list member. Especially someone as
knowledgable as Mark. I felt really dumb about my lack of info about
equipment I'd owned and worked with for so many years. I"d second the idea
of an East Coast Oly fest, but suggest Tampa rather than Orlando .. the
connections are about as good, but a lot less in the way of Tourists bound
for Disney. This isn't the year for ANYTHING in Florida, however.. take
you pick, floods, heat or fires.
It would be interesting to publish a list of members by Country and State
so we could meet others when traveling, perhaps??

PS.. Just include a copy of one of my messages in your safety deposit box
next to your will, so your wife won't have to look far to find my address,
please. I guess I can use the list members as witnesses to your largesse?? <g>
