I purchased a bottle at Samy's Camera in Los Angeles and I have used it
on my filters, some lenses, and a telescope. It does help to remove the last
traces of Pond's Cold Cream that is left after 95 0.000000E+00thanol from the
anti-mold
treatment which I tried out on my old Hoya 2X doubler that I'd dropped in a
stream while photographing water striders.
Anyway, I've found this thread quite interesting. I am toying with the idea
of purchasing a microfiber cloth. The commercially available colloidion lens
cleaner sounds like the best alternative. I wonder if this is available at
Samy's
in LA -- anybody know?
