Yes, it was me who started that one. If anybody wants to get a text file
with a copy of all the responses, mail me directly.
It was suggested to me to consider getting an 35-105 instead of 35-70,
which I eventually did. The performance of the lens is very good and the
extended focal range is very useful. Along with a 24mm it makes a great
landscape set. Another good thing is a close-up setting, which enables
you to focus to 30cm at about 1:5 scale (my estimate). The downsides are
somewhat greater weight, size and price.
