Apple and Amiga weren't the only alternative choices of Olympus users. I
myself still own an Atari Mega ST4 from 1988/89 (my second after that original
1040ST I bought in late '86), and I still use it for certain applications. But
it is a fact: bad marketing and pricing decisions can ruin a perfectly good
product, and there are days when I fear that Olympus is making some of the same
mistakes that Apple, Commodore and Atari made with their products. People
don't learn from history.
