This is not correct. As you can see from the messages sent by Cristopher
Biggs and Frank van Lindert, the value for f/8 is not rounded at all, it is
exacly 8, or, in other words, 2^3.
In fact, only every second f-stop value is rounded (1.4, 2.8, 5.6, 11,
...). The other numbers are the exact value (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, ...) ie. 2^0,
2^1, 2^2,...
