Well, I purchased a new flash/ambient light meter and I must keep my stash
of equipment to a minimum these days so I will part with my favorite meter
of all times. (insert sounds of hysterical crying here).
GOSSEN Luna-Pro (serial number 4C012xx)
Excellent Condition
Uses two PX-625 batteries (unmodified)
Leather case is in very good condition
Price: $125 USD, plus shipping.
Extremely accurate, uses two scales, EV 1-12 and EV 12-22. Has sliding
light dome for incident readings. F1-F90 scaling and 1/4000 to 8 hour
exposure scale. ASA dial goes from 0.8 to 25000. Even includes the CINE
exposure scales too. (meter actually indicates readings in the EV 0-1 range
too). This is the legendary "Coal-bin at night" meter that all others
were/are compared to
I am the second owner and I have had it for around 10 years. Unknown what
the exact age is, but it is of a quality and accuracy that it will outlive
my new Polaris Wonder-Widget. Later models of the Luna-Pro were smaller,
but this one is still more compact than my new meter. Legends are in both
German and English.
