An Italian repairman recommends a combo of ethilic and isopropylic alcohol
for cleaning lenses. Of course the cleaning has to be repeated till the
glass turns out perfectly clean. A percentage of distilled water may help
to solve those substances not solved by pure alcohols, of course.
BTW isopropyl is used in inkjet inks, asfaik.
